Abstract

Based on the results of the interview, several problems were found, namely the lack of learning media for energy materials which had an impact on the students' scores. Out of the total 26 in the class, 66% of students were not able to master energy material. This researcher aims to develop learning media for a simulator of changing motion energy into electricity for elementary schools. This development research uses a 4-D model which includes define, design, develop and disseminate. The subjects of this study were students of class IV UPT SD Negeri 63 Gresik, totaling 26 students. The data collection methods used were media validation, material validation and trial tests. Based on the data analysis of the results of validation and testing, it was found that the development of learning media for simulators of changing motion energy into electricity for elementary schools produced quality learning media, namely a). Learning media is categorized as very valid (90,5), b) the trial test is categorized as effective with a percentage of classical completeness of 84.61%.
